Rules:

The ride is held under EGB rules and these must be adhered at all times. Riders may not be accompanied on the course by walkers/cyclists/runners etc.

 

Disclaimer of Liability:

Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organiser of any event to which these rules apply, nor Endurance GB, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or any other way whatsoever.

 

Reservation of Rights:

The organisers have the right to (a) cancel the ride or any class, (b) alter the advertised times and (c) refuse any entry, with or without stating a reason. The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser/organising committee and all officials and stewards.

  If you wish to downgrade or change horse/rider, please let Lynne Sandford know in advance. (linniesandford@outlook.com) Also, if any information is incorrect please notify Lynne as soon as possible.

  Riders corralling horses must leave emergency phone numbers with the Secretary on arrival.

  If any new members/riders require more information/instruction about what to expect please contact Lynne prior to the event, or the Ride Sec on the day.

  PLEASE CHECK THE NOTICE BOARD FOR ANY UPDATES ON ARRIVAL.

 

RIDE INFORMATION

 

  • Parking:  All competitors must be parked as directed
  • Corralling/Stabling/Camping:  MUST BE PREBOOKED. Stabling priority will be given to CER horses. Please arrive before its dark.

     

    Corrals MUST be electrified in accordance with EGB Rules and ONLY 1 HORSE PER CORRAL.

     

    Corralling      £11 per night per horse.     Stabling  £20 per night including straw bedding.

     

    Camping        £11 per night per tent/caravan/trailer.
  • Refreshments:  Will be available Saturday and Sunday.
  • Administration:  If you have downloaded ride info, vet sheets & maps are available from the ride office on arrival.
  • Please ensure you have an emergency label with ride details attached to your saddle and you.
  • If you feel there is a discrepancy in results, please contact the TS immediately.
  • Farrier:  Two farriers will be on duty Saturday and Sunday. ALL horses must be presented prior to vetting. A farrier will be available to go out on course if required. All work completed must be paid for immediately.
  • Vet Inspection:  Horses may be presented in bridle or head collars, and MUST be under control. The Vet steward will direct you to a vet.
  • Hold times for the Vet Gates will be confirmed on the day – All riders must enter/leave vet gates by the entrance of the vet gate hold area, not the start/finish. CER/GER riders may use the vet gate or crew at their trailer, however MUST enter the vetting from the Vet Gate area.

 

  • CER riders must time in at VG hold steward unless finishing.
  • The Route:  The Trail Riders Fellowship marks the whole route in Orange. From the venue to CP1 the route is ONLY marked in orange and then each individual loop is marked with relevant colours also. It is the Riders responsibility to ensure RAYNET officials have noted their number, any riders not recorded may be eliminated.
